I have been creating these spaces of creative and energetic outlets that resonate with me (and hopefully with you) because the content on FB and IG seem to be more about comparison than art and craft. And I am not comfortable feeding into that machine.

So we have been working on creating ecosystems where we can shine collectively and so built WELM Media Group. WELM is the next wave...literally. The act of a body of water surging and cresting is called the whelm. It is an act or instance of flowing abundantly. I thought that shit sounded dope so I named my company after it. So join the WELM and be a part of a community that is focused on elevating instead of isolating.
We offer the podcast Melanated Mom Talk. It is about mothering in multitudes *AND TO THE MEN (please note) this is for you too. It is my belief that you do not need to have living children or a womb to "mother" something or someone. We are mothering when we tap into our intuition, when we nurture and nourish growth, when we give ourselves permission to change our minds and when we are strong enough to be vulnerable. I also note, the podcast should also be enjoy by people who lack melanin- being people who are predominantly caucasian. Many people from those communities never take the time to listen to our stories told in our voice, and they really should. We support your wokeness.
The main event here, I will also write a monthly "Adulting Cheat Sheet" on this blog. After many years working in New York City as a writer and producer, everyone I meet always asks how I do it all and keep smiling. Or they say how much they admire the way I've setup my adulthood. So by popular demand, I will be writing a quick list of what I'm on.
Finally, and most dear to my heart, I will be offering tarot card readings. I have always been a very intuitive being, always drawn to energies, astrology, numerology, auras and vibrations. The tarot just came to me in waves that I could not look away from, and when I learned reading cards was in my family I took the leap. I've studied with one of THE best spiritual innovators of our generation, Lindsay Mack, and now I practice channeling the wisdom of the cards into practical, daily meditations. And it is exhilarating to proclaim that I am here to support you on your personal growth and healing if you're anything like me. It's changed the way I receive life and I would love to share that.
